Lead and Lift

Amanda Bedell: Every Leader Needs These Five Success Factors

Episode Summary

About Amanda Bedell: Amanda Bedell has spent more than fifteen years in the marketing and public relations fields working with multimillion-dollar organizations. In between, she built a bakery from a farmer’s market booth to a retail shop to a manufacturing facility employing fifteen people. Through a series of decisions over six years, she exited the bakery, defeated and exhausted.  From that experience of business failure, combined with her marketing experience, BCC Business Consulting was born. She now helps business owners beyond the start-up phase and experiencing tighter than anticipated resources after building for five years or more. Usually, these business owners are antsy about getting a return on their investment and worried about their financial future. Their relationships are strained, and they are exhausted, burned out, and about ready to throw in the towel.  She is a graduate of the 10,000 Small Businesses program through Goldman Sachs and Babson College and has an MBA from Western Governors University. As a sorter of business chaos, Amanda offers her simple-to-use process to bring clarity and focus to business owners who want to write themselves bigger paychecks and take vacations without cash flow anxiety and endless calls from staff. If you’d like to see $150,000 or more hit your income statement in 90 to 120 days, you “better call Amanda.” In this episode, Chabidaye and Amanda discuss: Five-part framework for creating a successful business Going back to the purpose of your marketing Success leaves clues Protecting your #1 investment Key Takeaways: It’s important that you apply the 80/20 rule by considering what is that thing that’s going to give you the biggest return on your time, energy, and money. Look for two or three things that you do and just focus on them relentlessly, then, everything will fall into place. The marketing technique that might work for others might not work for you. You’ve got to shift the perspective back to the purpose of your marketing and take a look at how you can do something different to produce a better result. Find a mentor, someone who does what we want to do, someone who sees the grander picture of where you are going. Mentors and coaches will help us to set big, audacious goals and help us keep track and keep it consistent. Protect your investment, protect yourself. When you hire a coach or seek mentorship, you’re investing in your growth and in your continuous success. It is scary to think about financially, but it would be even scarier without support. “If you’re lonely right now in your business or at work, you’re doing it wrong.” —  Amanda Bedell Connect with Amanda Bedell: Website: https://www.chaostocalm.xyz/profitjolt LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/amandabedell/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/bccbusinessconsulting/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/BCCBusinessConsulting/ CONNECT WITH CHABIDAYE: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/chabidaye.ramnath.3 Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/chabidaye/ Website: https://leadandlift.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/chabidayejaglalramnath/ Show notes by Podcastologist: Justine Talla Audio production by Turnkey Podcast Productions.
